Crochet to Keep Warm // Sunday Snuggly Snood
This weekend we saw a little bit of snow! The cold weather just spurs me on to make anything and everything to keep warm, as demonstrated in my last post about the bobble hat so I finally finished off a snood I started well before Christmas.
I had made one already for a Christmas gift and quickly started this one for another present but it fell by the way-side, so I picked it up again on Saturday and decided to keep this one for myself! I used the super v-stitch pattern from Bella Coco who has a great, easy to follow tutorial on YouTube, but instead of using a chunky yarn I used two strands of Stylecraft Special Aran for the pink snood (shades Raspberry and Parchment) and two strands of Stylecraft Special DK for the blue snood (shades Silver and Sherbet - I just made this one a little longer to compensate for the thinner yarn).
I was so glad I finished it in time for the little flurry of snow we had on Sunday as it was so cold!!
Keep warm :) x
