Crochet Project Ideas // August 2015

As with any crochet enthusiast I am always thinking of new ideas and projects to make. I often keep a notebook handy to write these down; some don't come to fruition but there's always one or two that are at the top of my list(s).

Baby Shower Blanket

This weekend I celebrated the upcoming arrival of my nephew with my sister-in-law's baby shower. The whole day was lovely for her and she received so many wonderful gifts from friends and family. My gift to her was of course the blanket I have been making along with a little hamper of goodies. I also threw in a crochet teddy bear I had made ages ago; I'm happy to report she was thrilled with everything!

On the Hook: Granny Square Baby Blanket

After a very busy weekend I've nearly finished another baby blanket! There were three on the list so nearly two down, one to go. Annoyingly I keep seeing lots of different designs I want to try so I'm adding them to my ever growing list.

Seeing Stars Crochet Blanket: Ta-Dah!!

Following on from my previous post and after what felt like an eternity I finally managed to finish the

All Star blanket! Although once I had got into the swing of the pattern I did find this project a bit challenging; more so because it was quite time consuming and then joining all the squares just felt like it was never going to end!!
