Busy Bee

As always life gets in the way of my blogging time! Work has been super busy so time at home has been precious, meaning time dedicated to writing posts has been somewhat limited these past couple of weeks. Annoyingly I have a few posts ready to go, I just need to take some pictures and seeing as it has been super sunny here in London I really have no excuse!

Speaking of taking pictures I'm hopefully buying a new camera this weekend :) this makes me very happy as I've wanted one for ages and the last camera I bought was actually my first digital camera, some 8 years ago! I always use my iPhone to take pictures as it's more convenient but the quality just isn't the same. It's been a really tough decision whether to go all out and get a DSLR and pretend that I actually know what I'm doing to just stick to a point and shoot. Of course there are also the 'in-between' camera's such as the compact system or bridge camera. At the moment I've decided to stick to a regular digital camera, more for the convenience of being able to carry it around with me without having to have a big bag to go along with it. I also feel I don't have the time to dedicate to a 'proper' camera so for now I've chosen the Fujifilm XF1 which not only looks great but has manual control over the lens and all reviews I've read seem really positive. I'll keep you posted!

This weekend the hubby and I are off to Brighton for the day so I'll be posting about that next week (hopefully with some snazzy pics!) and then Sunday is Father's Day so I'll be spending the day with my hero of a father. The man is truly amazing so there may be a gushy post about that on Sunday.
